Personnel Officer in Occupational Health and Safety
Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB)
Elevate workplace health as a Personnel Officer focused on occupational safety and employee well-being. Collaborate on prevention strategies while analyzing workplace health data for improvement. In this role, you’ll support the Coordinator of health, safety, and quality of life at work. With three years of experience in occupational hygiene, you will design preventive measures and advise managers on health risks. Your proactive approach will ensure compliance and the promotion of well-being in the workplace. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate health and safety programs and initiatives
• Consult on health policies and safety standards
• Develop strategies for accident prevention
• Analyze workplace accident reports and recommend actions
• Lead joint health and safety committee meetings Requirements:
• Bachelor's in human resources management or related field
• Three years of experience in occupational hygiene
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities
• Bilingual in English and French, Cree is a plus Utilize your skills to ensure safer workplaces and enhance employee well-being.
