Health and Safety Manager at Ozz Electric

Lead safety initiatives as Ozz Electric's Health and Safety Manager in Ontario. Focus on compliance, training, and promoting workplace safety standards across operations.

The Health and Safety Manager coordinates all safety efforts, reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. You will have one direct report and handle health and safety programs, compliance, and training. This role encompasses site inspections and incident investigations to enhance overall safety culture and policies.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop health and safety awareness programs and systems • Lead Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings • Conduct safety evaluations and audits at job sites • Manage WCB claims and incident investigations • Administer safety training for onboarding new employees

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Health & Safety • Experience in construction or industrial services • Knowledge of all Occupational Health and Safety regulations • Strong leadership and analytical skills • Ability to travel to job sites in BC and WA
