Health and Safety Coordinator in BC

Join a reputable mechanical contractor in Lower Mainland, BC as a Health and Safety Coordinator. You'll ensure workplace safety and compliance across multiple job sites, fostering a proactive safety culture. In this field-focused role reporting to the Safety Manager, you'll conduct inspections, deliver toolbox talks, and administer safety training across active sites. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are crucial as you work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain compliance and promote effective safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments
• Implement and monitor the company's Health & Safety program
• Administer safety orientations and OH&S training
• Maintain site signage and ensure PPE compliance
• Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports Requirements:
• 2–5 years of health and safety experience
• Occupational First Aid certification required
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
• Confident communication and organizational skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle access Bring your expertise in health and safety to create a secure work environment across Lower Mainland's job sites.
