Diabetes Sales Specialist

Abbott seeks a Diabetes Sales Specialist for remote work in Ontario to drive sales growth across an assigned territory. The role involves educating healthcare providers and pharmacies on diabetes care products, executing patient programs, and managing territory business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned territory as a business to maximize sales and meet short and long-term goals
- Educate healthcare providers and convince them to place Abbott meters with insulin-using patients
- Execute patient start programs including clinic days and other events to accelerate patient adoption
- Identify and act on new sales opportunities in collaboration with Abbott representatives and marketing
- Communicate sales activity, follow-up, and administrative reporting in a clear and timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree combined with medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Superior selling and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to develop and present innovative solutions
- Strong business acumen and disease state knowledge
Compensation: $68,250–$101,100 CAD base
