Abbott seeks a Stakeholder Relations Lead for its Diabetes Care division covering Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The role involves building strategic relationships with government, health professionals, patient advocates, and policymakers to advance market access, reimbursement, and patient access objectives.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with government, health professionals, and patient advocates across Quebec and Atlantic Canada
- Develop and implement regional stakeholder engagement and market access strategies
- Support health technology assessment, reimbursement, and funding initiatives for diabetes care products
- Monitor health policy trends and emerging issues; provide timely strategic analysis to leadership
- Identify opportunities to influence reimbursement, funding, and policy decisions affecting product access
Requirements
- Experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies in healthcare
- Knowledge of provincial health systems, reimbursement processes, and health technology evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Experience in market access, policy advocacy, or healthcare government affairs
