REGISTERED NURSE (RN), CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR, LONG TERM CARE

Overview Northern Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator who will develop and deliver training and orientation programs to enhance the knowledge and competencies of our nursing staff.
Responsibilities Identify, plan, compile and deliver training sessions for staff to assist them in meeting key competencies in compliance with scope.
Compile, implement and evaluate general and unit-specific orientation and education programs.
Facilitate the development and ongoing maintenance of the department’s preceptorship/mentorship programs.
Participate in ongoing review and revision of patient care standards, policies and procedures.
Coordinate in-service programs to meet continuing educational needs of staff.
Qualifications Must have at least 3 years of recent experience in a long‑term care facility.
Must be able to travel as required.
Shift and Hours Monday to Friday, Days, 08:30 to 16:30. #J-18808-Ljbffr
