Registered Nurse In Patient Focused Care Toronto

K2W at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient-focused care. Engage with diverse cases, including oncology and palliative patients. In our medical and transitional care unit, the RN is key to providing comprehensive personal care for patients with varying medical needs. You will support our mission through your expertise in teamwork and communication, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Experience with dialysis and solid assessment skills are critical to this multifaceted role.
Key Responsibilities Provide total care for patients with complex medical conditions
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Conduct thorough physical assessments for all patients
Manage sensitive situations with solid communication skills
Deliver support in areas like dialysis and palliative care
Requirements Valid Ontario Nursing Registration
Experience in oncology preferred
Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approach valued
Robust problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of airway management and central venous catheters
