Licensed Practical Nurse Lpn, Coordinator, Long Term Care Fort Nelson

We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Fort Nelson Health Unit. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position promotes a secure, respectful, and civil working workplace for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. LPN Coordinator is responsible for providing first line supervision to LPN nursing staff and unregulated care staff and providing nursing care to an assigned group of residents/patients/clients according to established policies and procedures and the Standards of Practice for the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). The LPN Coordinator coordinates the work of the LPN and unregulated care staff on the unit(s) including making and adjusting work assignments, providing work direction, scheduling staff, monitoring and following up on the work of staff to ensure outcomes of care are achieved and ongoing evaluation of staff work. This position is in Fort Nelson and Supervises Unregulated Staff Care Aides, will also be providing care for Immunizations and Community RAI's. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, 08:00 to 20:00 (rotating)
