Independent recruiter with a genuine, established network across engineering and construction (civil, structural, mechanical, project management, site supervision, estimating, and related disciplines). Understanding of the technical side of the industry well enough to qualify candidates beyond keyword matches. Strong candidate management and relationship‑building skills; a 180‑style, candidate‑side role. Ability to operate independently, with integrity, and move quickly. The search is high‑volume and time‑sensitive. The positions will be based across Edmonton and Calgary for a leading construction/engineering client. What you’ll own (180/Resource Manager side)

Sourcing and networking to build a strong, qualified candidate pipeline. Posting roles and managing inbound candidate flow. Sharing job descriptions and representing the opportunities accurately to candidates. Phone screens and interviews to qualify candidates against technical and cultural fit. Managing the candidate relationship through the process, keeping them informed, and engaged. Supporting offer negotiation, surfacing candidate needs/expectations, and helping bring offers to acceptance. Engagement terms

Open to either a contingency or hourly arrangement, depending on fit. Let’s discuss what works for both of us.
