The position available at U of A Hospital requires a Service Worker I for the Emergency Department. Your key tasks will include transporting patients and medical supplies, maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, and handling sensitive materials. You will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and quality of patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients and medical equipment safely within the hospital
• Maintain cleanliness in patient areas and medical equipment
• Manage and distribute hospital supplies effectively
• Assist with the handling of lab specimens and blood transport
• Report safety issues promptly to Unit Managers

• Grade 12 education or an equivalent qualification is required
• BLS certification must be obtained before starting
• At least one year experience as a porter or attendant
• Good English communication skills are necessary
• Ability to perform tasks that require physical stamina
