Legal Counsel - Hybrid Role in Montréal

Become a Legal Counsel at an international audiovisual technology firm in Montréal. This hybrid role requires expertise in commercial law and offers diverse opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Our client is a rapidly expanding company in the entertainment sector, providing solutions for live productions and large-scale projects. The position involves collaborating closely with a small legal team while advising on operational legal matters, negotiating contracts, and managing trademark issues. You'll also contribute to transactional matters and support litigation when necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
- Advise teams on daily operational legal matters
- Handle trademark registration and certain real estate files
- Contribute to M&A and other transactional issues
- Collaborate with external counsel on litigation cases
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant legal experience
- Fully bilingual in French and English
- Strong background in commercial and transactional law
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Adaptable and pragmatic in a dynamic setting
