Shape the future of investments as a Senior Legal Counsel with PSP Investments, providing legal support for complex international transactions in a hybrid work setting. As part of a first-class legal team at PSP Investments, you will report to the Managing Director of Legal Affairs, focusing on a broad spectrum of legal matters including private equity, infrastructure, and capital markets. This position requires a seasoned lawyer with a strategic mindset and strong collaboration skills, ready to guide internal stakeholders and external lawyers through complex legal landscapes while leveraging AI tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead legal work on global transactions
- Coordinate with external legal counsel globally
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations
- Provide strategic advice for governance and corporate legal activities
- Partner with varied internal departments such as Tax and Risk
- Bachelor of Law degree; Bar Association membership
- 5-10 years of legal experience in private and corporate practice
- Proven ability to lead and mentor within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed
- Bilingual in English and French preferred
