Emergency Management Lead Hybrid Role

Enhance community resilience as an Emergency Management Lead with the Canadian Red Cross in a hybrid setting in Montréal, Canada. Oversee volunteer management and emergency response planning effectively. This full-time, temporary role focuses on sourcing, engaging, and training volunteers within the Canadian Red Cross framework. You will integrate and enhance emergency response capabilities and facilitate planning for preparedness activities, both virtually and in-person. Collaborate with various community partners to ensure strong operational readiness and represent the organization in emergency situations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support volunteer onboarding and engagement initiatives
- Facilitate planning of emergency response activities
- Implement action plans for team capacity improvement
- Develop and organize preparedness training sessions
- Report on volunteer team accomplishments and activities
- College diploma in related fields
- 1 to 3 years in volunteer management
- Fluency in French and English required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and ability to deploy
