Department Manager

Position Type: Full‑time, 40 hours per week; Shift: Day.

We are seeking a motivated and resourceful individual to become a Department Manager in our retail environment. This role involves planning, coordinating activities, and driving operational success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform a variety of management activities within the department.
• Define clear objectives and communicate expectations to the team, while providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor staff to achieve results.
• Oversee purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, and salary productivity according to established standards.
• Manage the department budget and ensure adherence to financial targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or college degree.
• Prior management experience.
• Current or past Department Manager experience is preferred.
