Founded in 1984, Geroquip Inc. is a leader in the distribution of specialised equipment, products, and construction materials for the concrete industry. The company initially established its reputation as a leading distributor of concrete pumps and has since expanded its expertise to offer a comprehensive range of concrete-related products and services.We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable IT professional to ensure continuity following the departure of a current team member. This hands-on position requires expertise across a variety of areas, including information systems, hardware, software, and technical support.The successful candidate will receive training and ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition.Key Responsibilities and Areas of ExpertiseMaintain, support, and troubleshoot the company's ERP systems.Support and maintain ACCEO Ogasys. Knowledge of ACCEO Ogasys is considered an important asset.Provide technical support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and user issues.Support inventory-management systems and ensure their effective operation.Provide assistance with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and other commonly used business software.Support Bell Total Connect and other IP-based telephone systems.Apply an understanding of wholesale distribution processes and operations.Work collaboratively with users and internal departments to identify and resolve technical issues.QualificationsRelevant experience in information technology, systems support, or a related position.Strong knowledge of ERP-system maintenance and support.Experience with ACCEO Ogasys or a comparable ERP system is an important asset.Experience in the wholesale distribution industry is preferred.Knowledge of inventory-management systems and processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.Experience supporting Bell Total Connect or other IP telephone systems.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to provide effective and professional technical support to users.Organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.BenefitsPermanent, full-time position.Competitive salary based on experience.Group benefits program.Annual vacation and paid leave.Training and support to ensure a smooth transition.
