Tax Compliance Manager - Canadian Focus

Join our dedicated pharmaceutical team as a Tax Compliance Manager overseeing Canadian tax initiatives. Manage compliance, auditing, and strategic planning to optimize overall tax management. In this role, reporting to the Sr. Taxation Director, you will be responsible for all facets of Canadian corporate income tax compliance and audits. You'll collaborate with the Canada Revenue Agency while developing thorough tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing corporate tax burdens. Utilizing your proficiency in tax software, you will standardize reporting and processes effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation of corporate tax returns and provisions
- Engage in research and document tax planning strategies
- Liaise regularly with CRA for audit management
- Respond to tax queries from authorities as needed
- Improve efficiency using tax software tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required
- 5+ years of experience in tax compliance
- Bilingual in French and English essential
- Strong communication and analytical abilities
