Senior Technician - Sample Management Role

Shape the future of sample management at Altasciences as a Senior Technician, driving efficiency and excellence through autonomous task execution. Your primary focus will be on overseeing sample handling and training new hires. This key role involves managing sample inventories, enhancing procedural effectiveness, and spearheading technician development. You will assist with complex studies and ensure compliance with all guidelines as you manage critical shipments. Your communication and analytical skills will support other technicians in navigating intricate requests and laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee storage equipment organization and optimization
- Conduct independent sample reception and reporting
- Coach and train new Sample Management staff
- Support preparation of shipments and sample documentation
- Assist with laboratory investigations and compliance tasks
- Diploma or BSc with at least 3 years experience
- Understanding of FDA-GLP, GCP regulations
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Watson LIMS knowledge advantageous
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
- French language proficiency required for Quebec position
