HR Administrative Assistant in Cranbrook

Step into the role of HR Administrative Assistant with the Regional District of East Kootenay located in Cranbrook, BC. This casual position plays an important part in supporting HR functions every Friday and during leave coverage. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll manage various administrative duties, including cash handling and receptionist support. Candidates need to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to connect effectively with a variety of stakeholders. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools and previous experience in an office setting is crucial. Key Responsibilities:
• Complete tasks with a high attention to detail
• Conduct cash handling and reception duties accurately
• Interact with employees and the public effectively
• Support HR operations with various clerical functions
• Organize workloads to align with priorities Requirements:
• Office Administration Certificate or similar qualification
• At least 1 year of administrative office experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication
