HR Generalist (US Support) - Remote working

We're partnering with a scaling tech company to hire a sharp, solutions‑driven HR Generalist who can own employee relations, benefits, compliance and culture-building.
You’ll be the trusted partner employees and managers rely on—balancing empathy with professionalism, solving problems before they elevate, and strengthening company culture. To be successful in this role you must have experience of US employment laws.
What You’ll Own Employee Relations — Serve as a go‑to resource for employees and managers; guide policy interpretation, conflict resolution, performance conversations, and sensitive matters with discretion.
Benefits Administration — Manage global perks programs, 401(k) processes, open enrollment, vendor coordination, billing reconciliation, and qualifying life events.
Compliance Management — Ensure adherence to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and multi‑state regulations.
Leave & Workers’ Comp — Administer FMLA, disability, parental leave, accommodations, workers’ comp claims, and return‑to‑work processes.
HRIS & Data Integrity — Maintain accurate employee records, process job changes, conduct audits, and support payroll/perks system accuracy.
Audit & Reporting — Keep documentation audit‑ready, support unemployment claims, legal requests, and external audits.
What You Bring 5+ years progressive HR generalist experience in fast‑paced, multi‑state environments
Strong command of US federal & state employment laws
Proven ability to handle employee relations with sound judgment
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Rippling, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills and solid Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 proficiency
Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
