Social Work Officer For Caf Family Support Surrey

Overview Be part of the Canadian Armed Forces as a Social Work Officer focused on family support and mental health. Provide vital clinical services to enhance the lives of CAF personnel and families. As a Social Work Officer, your mission will be to improve the morale and mental well‑being of Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. Delivering services akin to community mental health agencies, you will address stressors from military life, such as relocations and separations.
Your role involves clinical interventions and collaborating with other social work agencies for comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical interventions for members and families
Resolve compassionate circumstances effectively
Advise leadership on social wellbeing issues
Investigate and document compassionate situations
Develop preventive programs addressing family issues
Requirements Master of Social Work degree with active license
Experience in clinical social work (2 years ideal)
Solid communication skills for advisory roles
Flexibility for deployment and training
Commitment to career development and networking
