Junior Legal Counsel in British Columbia (Vancouver)

Onni Group is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to oversee litigation matters and contribute to legal strategies across British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate litigator.
As a key member of the in-house litigation team, you will manage a diverse portfolio, from pre-litigation through resolution. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience post-call and solid communication skills will thrive in this role. Engage with sophisticated commercial disputes and guide strategic decisions on cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of civil litigation matters from initiation to resolution
- Advise on associated risks and strategic directions in litigation
- Review and draft crucial legal documents including pleadings
- Support consultation on landlord-tenant disputes and lease enforcement
- Collaborate with the legal team on general corporate matters
Requirements
- Law Society of British Columbia membership required
- 1-3 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong written and oral communication prowess
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to convey legal risks to non-legal stakeholders
