Operations, Events & Administrative Assistant

The Operations, Events & Administrative Assistant is the organizational hub that helps keep Prairie Hospice running smoothly. This position provides administrative, logistical, communications, and event support allowing staff to focus on client care, volunteer support, quality improvement, and community engagement.Every day is different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, resourceful, and energized by coordinating people, projects, events and daily operations while ensuring the many moving parts of a busy, mission driven organization come together seamlessly.
This position will work closely with the entire team, to ensure daily operations, projects, events and organizational priorities are coordinated efficiently and effectively.
This is more than an administrative position. You will be the organizational hub that coordinates office operations, events, volunteer administration and communications so our team can focus on supporting clients and families.
What You'll Do
Coordinate office operations and organizational logistics
Plan and organize fundraising, volunteer and community events
Coordinate volunteer administration and training logistics
Prepare meeting packages and organizational documents
Support communications, social media and promotional materials
Help improve organizational systems and processes
