Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers? We are seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, business analysis, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-qualified (or recently designated) professional looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic manufacturing and project-based environment.

As our Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information while providing meaningful insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Leading month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger management
Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Performing account analysis, accrual calculations, cost allocations, and financial reporting
Managing costing and manufacturing-related transactions within the ERP system
Monitoring project costs, revenues, budgets, and margins
Preparing weekly reporting packages including revenue, sales, order book, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
Assisting with treasury and banking transactions, including wire transfers
Partnering with Sales, Operations, Project Management, and other stakeholders across the business
Supporting year-end audits and requests from Head Office
Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls
Assisting with ERP enhancements, testing, and implementation activities
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

CPA designation (or recently obtained)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing and project-based environment .
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes
Experience with month-end close and general ledger management
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Continuously looks for ways to improve processes and controls

Broad exposure to financial accounting, costing, forecasting, and business analysis
Dynamic manufacturing and project-based business environment
