Imagine the excitement and ability to show off your incredible skills in a deployed environment (overseas) for six months coordinating travel for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from across the world! As a deployed Travel Benefits Coordinator or Supervisor, you are not just providing travel services, but enhancing the morale and welfare of all the troops deployed. RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate critical travel and vacation arrangements for CAF members, either to family or approved destinations. Conduct briefings and provide advice and guidance while ensuring policy is followed. Complete and process financial claims accurately. Lead and manage the Travel department, supporting a team of Coordinators toward delivering exceptional service while ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Plan recreational activities, outings and events to help keep the military mentally and physically ready for operations. QUALIFICATIONS

College diploma or certificate in Tourism and Travel, Business Administration, Adult Training or a related field. Valid driver’s licence (Province). Canadian citizenship. Valid Canadian passport. EXPERIENCE

Planning and administering travel arrangements. Providing logistical support and customer service. Conducting training sessions and presentations. Office administration. Providing advice and guidance. Conflict management. Interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and regulations. Creating and maintaining electronic filing systems and databases. ADDITIONAL SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE

Planning services such as travel and office administration. Personnel administration. COMPETENCIES

Client focus. Organizational knowledge. Communication. Innovation. Teamwork. Leadership. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS PRIOR TO DEPLOYMENT

Completion of a health, dental and psychosocial assessment. Security screening. Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C, or willingness to obtain upon hire. Ability to walk and lift, carry, pull or push heavy items. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Recruiting for positions with multiple language requirements. English Essential. Reading: Functional. Writing: Functional. Oral: Functional. Candidates meeting the Bilingual Essential requirement will be considered for all available positions (both English Essential and Bilingual Essential). JOB INFORMATION

Position type: Civilian deployment contracts are 6‑month terms. Deployment start dates may take place within the next 2 years. Hours of work: Maximum 56 hours per week, which includes weekdays and weekends. Training and selection course: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in a multi‑day training and selection course. Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia. Date: October16,2026–October25,2026. Compensation: Fully paid attendance, including travel, accommodations and meals. This training will be valid for2years. BENEFITS

Tax‑free allowance: Possibility of up to $1,756 per month in addition to your salary (allowance rates are based on mission/location/date). Home leave and travel allowance: Possibility of paid leave and travel allowance. Accommodations and meals: Provided for duration of deployment. Health benefits: Drug coverage, travel insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. Excursions: Possibility to explore and experience the local culture and environment through activities like excursions off base. LOCATION
