Drive impactful early years programming as the Supervisor for Indigenous Child Programs at Native Child and Family Services. This role integrates Indigenous cultural values into community services. Working under the Manager of Early Years, you'll develop culturally responsive programs that support children's holistic development.
A focus on relationship-building and cultural integrity is essential, as is the ability to meet the needs of Indigenous families in the community. Group dynamics and intergenerational learning opportunities are integral to this position.
Key Responsibilities Develop programs based on Indigenous pedagogical frameworks
Foster relationships with Elders and community stakeholders
Ensure cultural safety and belonging in all programming
Mentor staff to enhance their understanding of Indigenous practices
Oversee program operations and adherence to standards
Requirements 2 years' experience supervising Early Years Programs
Knowledge of Indigenous practices and relevant legislation
Ability to complete a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Effective in managing budgets and operational data
