Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Teema (Toronto)

Are you a strategic recruiter who thrives on finding top-tier talent and building lasting business partnerships? We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to deliver full-cycle recruitment support and drive creative sourcing solutions for our client, an established Engineering firm with major capital projects.

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, this position focuses on attracting top talent, advising hiring managers, and building solid candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

This role is hybrid 3 days a week in West GTA; comp includes base salary plus solid benefits including bonus and pension.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, resume screening, phone interviews, reference checks, and extending job offers.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify diverse sourcing channels and execute external plans to build robust talent pools and pipelines for your portfolio.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, candidate availability updates, recruitment risks, and advanced assessment techniques.
  • Brand & Networking: Maintain a strong professional online and social media presence to prospect talent and enhance brand awareness.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner regularly with the business to forecast recruitment needs, understand talent roadmaps, and assist with job descriptions.
  • Candidate Experience: Guide candidates seamlessly through the recruitment process to ensure a smooth transition to onboarding.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize recruitment metrics and ATS data to analyze trends and continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • DE&I; Focus: Drive an inclusive culture that promotes equity, welcomes diverse perspectives, and builds varied talent communities.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years independently leading end-to-end recruitment efforts.
  • Industry Preference: Experience recruiting within construction, infrastructure, Civil or closely related industries required.
  • Sourcing Expertise: Proven success handling hard-to-fill roles and high-volume sourcing scenarios using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Tech Savvy: Demonstrated proficiency navigating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data accurately.
  • Soft Skills: A collaborative self-starter and creative problem solver with exceptional organizational and emerging project management skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence outcomes and counsel internal stakeholders.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a business-related field is considered an asset.
