Territorial Midwifery Services Manager
Government of Northwest Territories
Lead maternal and neonatal healthcare in the Northwest Territories as a Territorial Manager with the Health and Social Services Authority. Drive best practices in midwifery and program operations. This managerial role involves overseeing midwifery services while enhancing care delivery for residents. You will collaborate with Regional Managers to ensure program coherence and mentor health professionals through education and training. A strong focus on culturally protected practices and evidence-based care will be essential for this position. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality maternal and child healthcare
• Manage midwifery program operations in coordination with leaders
• Integrate evidence-based practices in service delivery
• Educate health professionals on midwifery best practices
• Ensure adherence to midwifery skilled standards Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery with five years’ experience
• Five years of management experience in health services
• Skills in culturally competent care provision
• Ability to implement training and orientation programs Drive transformative change in maternal health by leading midwifery services effectively.
