The Service Asset and Configuration Management Specialist is essential to establishing and maintaining an ITIL‑based service‑management practice, focusing on configuration and asset management in ServiceNow. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead implementation and ongoing management of Service Asset and Configuration Management processes. Develop, maintain, and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity. Establish and enforce policies, standards and procedures for asset and configuration management aligned with ITIL best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to identify, track and manage configuration items (CIs) and assets throughout their lifecycle. Configure and manage data in ServiceNow modules related to Asset Management and CMDB, including Discovery and Service Mapping. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of the CMDB and asset inventory to maintain data quality. Develop and implement processes for managing software licenses, hardware warranties and vendor contracts. Create and maintain documentation for configuration management processes, including the Configuration Management Plan. Provide training and support to IT staff on configuration and asset management best practices and ServiceNow usage. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization, CMDB health and compliance status. Collaborate with Change Management to assess and communicate the impact of changes on CIs and services. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Stay current with industry trends, ITIL practices and ServiceNow capabilities to drive continuous improvement. About you

We are looking for a candidate who: Has a bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field. Possesses 5 to 7 years of experience in service management and related analytics, with demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, particularly in CMDB and Asset Management modules. Has a strong background in ITIL processes and best practices. Occupational Certification
