Engineering Project Manager for City Assets
City of Vancouver
Lead key engineering projects with the City of Vancouver as a Project Engineer. This role is pivotal in coordinating complex projects and ensuring compliance with project management standards. As part of the City of Vancouver's Integrated Projects Branch, you will oversee the delivery of engineering designs and construction plans. Engage with multiple departments and manage contracts with technical consultants to meet project goals effectively. Your responsibilities include financial oversight and public engagement, essential for project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of detailed project work plans
- Prepare and maintain reports on project scope and performance
- Implement Project Management Framework compliance
- Facilitate the tendering process for engineering services
- Engage with the public during project presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience
- Immediate eligibility for Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer registration
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with urban engineering policies and regulations
