A boutique architectural practice specializing in residential, hospitality and commercial projects is looking for a Project Architect to join their team. Led by a multidisciplinary principal in the Calgary core. Work Arrangement

Hybrid flexibility. Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to design from concept through design development Translate client vision into strong, functional, and creative design solutions Produce and oversee high‑quality design presentations, drawings, and visualizations Collaborate with internal teams to maintain design intent through all project phases Manage projects through construction documentation, tender, and contract administration Lead coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders Oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings and specifications Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirements Conduct site reviews and support contract administration activities Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and project alignment Support project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning Mentor and guide junior and intermediate team members Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with quality standards Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years of experience and be registered with AAA or similar Bachelors or Master’s in architecture from an accredited college or university Previous experience working on multifamily, commercial and hospitality projects Strong proficiency in Revit Experience in sustainable design/ LEED AP & working with First Nations communities is a strong asset Strong portfolio demonstrating both design sensibility and technical execution Compensation

$90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience) + bonus, extended benefits & flexible work setting.
