Registered Nurse for Community Health
WRHA Community Health Services
Deliver essential nursing care within the community as a Registered Nurse with the WRHA. This position focuses on clients with complex health needs across various settings including homes and clinics. The WRHA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing services under general supervision. You will demonstrate leadership in coordinating client care and implementing prescribed treatments. Your role includes independent nursing and teamwork, requiring effective communication and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent nursing care to community clients
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications
- Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes
- Adhere to nursing standards and ethical guidelines
- Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program
- Minimum 2 years related experience preferred
- Valid registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- CNA Community Health Nurses Certification preferred
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license required
