Part-Time Registered Nurse in Truro

Join VON Canada as a part-time Registered Nurse working in Truro, Nova Scotia. Your role focuses on delivering patient-centered care across diverse communities, including diabetes management, palliative care, and IV therapy. In this permanent position, you'll provide essential nursing services to individuals of all ages. Working a flexible schedule with evening and weekend rotations, you'll serve the community in a variety of settings. Your expertise in community health will enhance patient outcomes as you manage complex wounds and assist with dialysis. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medicine management, including IV medications
• Deliver wound care and complex wound therapy
• Conduct phlebotomy and support palliative care
• Oversee patient care in home and community contexts
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Nova Scotia
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle access
• Experience in community health is preferred
• Obtain Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Contribute your nursing skills to VON Canada and make a meaningful impact on community health.
