Registered Nurse for Withdrawal Management

Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Withdrawal Management Program at Humber River Health. This part-time role focuses on assessment, counseling, and support for patients facing withdrawal challenges.

As a permanent part-time RN, you will work under the Clinical Manager within our Mental Health and Addictions Program. Your responsibilities include assessing complex concurrent disorder patients, providing individual counseling, and collaborating with care teams. Utilize your expertise in crisis management and community resources to enhance patient outcomes and facilitate program improvements.

Key Responsibilities: • Assess and plan treatment for concurrent disorder patients • Provide counseling and crisis management for individuals • Facilitate intake support with the care team • Foster relationships with internal and community resources • Cover nursing duties across Mental Health Clinics as needed

Requirements: • Current CNO registration and BCLS certification • BScN or health sciences degree preferred • Experience in mental health and addictions care required • Knowledge of concurrent disorders and crisis intervention • Understanding of Trauma Informed Care principles
