Perinatal Health Medical Director at VCH

Shape perinatal health strategies as the Regional Program Medical Director with Vancouver Coastal Health. This leadership role focuses on collaborative clinical expertise and innovative healthcare solutions. Vancouver Coastal Health seeks an engaging physician leader to fill the role of Regional Program Medical Director for Perinatal Health. You will coordinate a regional approach to perinatal health, improve service delivery, and support care providers in implementing best practices. This position will directly influence regional strategies and enhance quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead strategic projects focusing on perinatal health
- Collaborate with Indigenous Health teams for culturally safe care
- Develop and manage quality improvement programs
- Ensure alignment with Ministry of Health and VCH strategic objectives
- Represent VCH in inter-regional discussions and planning
- Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Minimum 5 years of recent medical leadership experience
- Strong clinical expertise in perinatal health
- Active medical staff privileges at VCH or PHC
- Eligibility for faculty appointment at UBC
