Winnipeg Medical Laboratory Technologist Role
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA)
Become a General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist at Shared Health in Winnipeg. This in-person position involves clinical analysis, quality standards, and collaborative lab projects. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting lab analyses and accurately reporting results on patient samples. Under the guidance of your supervisor, you will support laboratory compliance standards and initiatives while ensuring a safe work environment according to regulations. Be prepared for rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on clinical laboratory samples
- Assist in implementing lab projects and SOPs
- Ensure quality compliance with medical standards
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment
- Support Shared Health's mission and values
- Graduate of an accredited laboratory technology program
- Current or eligible registration with CMLTM required
- Prior relevant experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
