Contribute to grain quality assessments as a Laboratory Researcher at the Canadian Grain Commission in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Engage in analytical testing of grain samples to support the industry. This term position lasts 4 to 6 months, focusing on quality analysis for the Grain Research Laboratory. Qualified candidates will need a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or relevant work experience. Responsibilities include sample preparation, data collection, and maintaining laboratory equipment efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare materials and samples for analysis
• Perform analytical tests using established methods
• Collect and report data in a summarized format
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Work efficiently in a high-throughput environment Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or equivalent
• Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance
• Proficient in data entry and analysis
• Competency in English; French is an asset
• Knowledge in quality management systems preferred Utilize your analytical skills and laboratory expertise to enhance grain quality research at the Canadian Grain Commission.
