Accounting Technician for Trust Management

Advance your career as an Accounting Technician in a full-time role with a progressive law firm. Focus on trust accounting and play a vital part in financial reporting. This permanent, full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week. You will manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with Law Society regulations, while also participating in billing and accounts receivable. Your contributions towards process improvements and team collaboration will drive operational success. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile trust accounting transactions
- Ensure compliance with Legal Society standards
- Participate in billing and collections processes
- Prepare financial statements for closing periods
- Collaborate with teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
- 2 years of professional services accounting experience
- DEC in Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Ability to interact effectively with clients
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
