Transat Senior Legal Counsel, Regulatory Affairs

Drive legal excellence at Transat as a Senior Legal Counsel focused on Regulatory Affairs and Commercial Litigation. This full-time role demands strategic legal insight in a highly regulated space. Reporting to the Senior Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, you will actively contribute to managing litigation and support compliance measures while collaborating across various business units. Your role will involve advising on legal risks, managing internal investigations, and drafting critical operational agreements. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial and regulatory litigation
- Advise teams during pre-litigation and urgent legal scenarios
- Support and direct internal investigations and compliance initiatives
- Oversee contributions from external legal counsel
- Assess risks and provide pragmatic legal solutions
- Active Member of the Barreau du Québec
- 7 to 10 years of relevant legal experience
- Familiarity with aviation regulations is advantageous
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Command of both French and English
