Legal Counsel for Employment & Litigation

Join Intact as a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Employment and Corporate Litigation. Enhance your career with a hybrid work model and the chance to manage complex legal challenges. In this role, you will provide essential legal advice on employment law and corporate litigation matters. With at least five years of relevant experience, your insights will guide business partners and HR through various legal issues, from workplace investigations to class actions. Your responsibility will also extend to overseeing external counsel and supporting internal processes, ensuring compliance and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on employment-related litigation, mediations, and safety standards
- Instruct external counsel on various litigation matters
- Provide legal insights on misconduct allegations and investigations
- Monitor legislation and case law affecting operations and risk
- Continuously improve internal processes and compliance standards
- Minimum five years of legal experience in employment law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual in French and English
- Admission to the bar of Quebec
- Ability to work independently in a regulated industry
