As part of Munich Re Canada, you will oversee a variety of litigated claims, conduct audits, and deliver actionable legal opinions to enhance claim outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strong client partnerships and mitigating legal risks in complex situations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of litigated claims
- Provide strategic legal assistance and settlement guidance
- Conduct detailed litigation audits for process improvements
- Communicate significant legal changes to stakeholders
- Develop and deliver client-focused training materials
- Law degree with Bar membership in Ontario or Quebec
- 7+ years in Disability or Life claims litigation
- Preferred experience with Critical Illness litigation
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Strong analytical and communication skills
