What you will be doing
- Responsible for the achievement of annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Implement national marketing, trade or banner specific programs to support customer/business needs and territory sales and objectives.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Ascensia products, disease state, competitive products and market dynamics to exceed customer expectations and compete in the marketplace.
- Responsible for selling and building relationships and rapport to a combination of pharmacy accounts as well as Health Care Professionals.
- Continuously manage and maintain required call cycle and calls (both virtual and in-person) required per account and meet reach and frequency targets.
- Sales presentations to targeted customers (Internal Medicine, Key GPs, Family Health Team, Diabetes Nurse Educators and Pharmacists) within markets that have key business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to execute business plans, analyze territory trends and continuously identify new business opportunities.
Skills you will need
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business administration.
- 3+ Years of sales experience, healthcare sales preferred.
- High level of competencies in communication.
- Pre and post call analysis and planning.
- Knowledge of the selling process in the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing, maintaining, and growing a large book of business within an assigned geographic territory.
- 40% travel required.
