POSITION LOCATION: South Winnipeg Campus (Winnipeg, MB) Hybrid**

Notre Dame Campus during the initial training and onboarding period, with the position transitioning to the South Winnipeg Campus (130 and 205 Henlow Bay) on a permanent basis. The incumbent may be required to work at other RRC Polytech campuses as operationally required.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Procurement and Logistics team supports RRC Polytech’s operations through the coordination of inventory management, shipping and receiving, mail services, and internal distribution across campus locations. The team ensures the accurate and efficient receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, materials, and food products. Working collaboratively with academic, research, and administrative departments, the team supports daily operations while maintaining accurate documentation and transactions within the institution’s ERP system.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Supply Coordinator manages inventory control activities, including inventory locations, min/max stock levels, cycle counts, and item master data within a fully integrated ERP system. The primary objective of the role is to ensure that supplies, materials, and related services are available to support the College’s academic programs and operational requirements. This includes maintaining appropriate inventory levels, coordinating supply replenishment, supporting end users with sourcing and supply-related requests, and contributing to the effective and efficient flow of goods throughout the organization. Working collaboratively with other Supply Coordinators and Storekeepers, the incumbent helps coordinate daily operations and supports a range of supply chain activities as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• High school diploma; Completion of or enrolment in the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program, Certificate in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain operations, preferably in a medium- to large-sized organization with complex inventory requirements
• Experience with ERP systems and computerized inventory management tools; including strong database management and data integrity skills
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, including the ability to respond to inquiries, resolve supply and distribution issues, and provide timely, accurate support to internal clients and external partners
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, replenishment practices, cycle counting, stock rotation, and inventory control best practices
• Experience establishing, organizing, and maintaining inventory locations and processes to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
• Proven ability to analyze inventory and operational data, prepare reports, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to optimize inventory performance and service levels
• Experience with shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material distribution operations
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), and safe material handling procedures
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and hand trucks
• Proficient with MS Office suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

• Openness to using AI tools as relevant to role specific work
• Supervisory or lead-hand experience in an inventory/supply chain environment
• Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)

• Salary Range for this position:  $49,595 - $69,838 per annum
• Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. • Incumbent must hold a valid class 5 driver`s license
• May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
• Incumbent must be physically capable of performing the Duties and Responsibilities of the position including the ability to lift/move up to 50lbs/23kg
