DevOps Specialist

Techso is continuing its growth and is looking for a DevOps specialist to support the needs of our clients across Canada.

To excel in this role, you need to :

• Be mobile within the Montreal area to meet with clients as needed.
• Be fluent in both French and English, spoken and written, as these languages are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients, both in Quebec and across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to configure systems tailored to the specific needs of each project.
• Design and implement cloud architectures and infrastructures (AWS, Azure).
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and operational maintenance (MCO), including administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical foundation (Git, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Design and deliver technical training.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and at the expected quality level agreed upon with the client.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and components (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with Open Source applications.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash.
• Strong interpersonal skills, passion for Ops, and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French, spoken and written, to interact effectively with diverse clients.
