Senior HR Business Partner Role (Winnipeg)

Join Carewest as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where you will enhance labor relations and HR functions in Southport. This full time position requires skillful engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Executive Director, People, Talent & Wellness, you will utilize your extensive HR knowledge to manage complex employee and labor relations. Your ability to analyze and provide sound recommendations will be critical in addressing non-standard HR issues while ensuring compliance with company policies. Experience in collective bargaining and conflict resolution is essential for this strategic role.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on employee and labor relations and policy interpretation
- Participate in grievance arbitration and litigation as a representative
- Facilitate effective consultation with HR teams and stakeholders
- Monitor and forecast HR trends impacting the organization
- Prepare regular management reports to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience focusing on labor relations
- University degree in a relevant field
- Preferred professional designation (CPHR, CIPD)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license
