Mining Risk Management Expert Needed
Gold Fields Windfall
Gold Fields is seeking a Mining Risk Management Expert for the Windfall Project in northern Québec. Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts that drive project excellence in a vibrant collaborative environment. This position entails overseeing the risk management framework and ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards. You will perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, recommend treatment strategies, and maintain an up-to-date risk register. Contribute to the success of one of the largest greenfield mining projects through your expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop risk management processes, tools, and methodologies
- Conduct regular risk identification and assessment workshops
- Track action plans and monitor critical risks
- Provide training on risk management best practices
- Integrate operational risks with project planning
- Degree in engineering, finance, or related field
- At least 8 years of risk management experience
- Capability in risk modeling tools like Primavera
- Bilingualism required
- Background in mining advantageous
