Candidate to the engineering profession (CEP) - Mining

Your future role on our team

As a CEP you will be reporting to the Team Leader for Mining Engineering. In your role you will be assisting on support mandates for mining operations and on mining studies, both in Canada and internationally. You will be assigned to both open pit and underground mining projects and will be given the opportunity to collaborate with the engineers and geologists in offices across Canada.

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
• Experience working at a mining operation
• Minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to the position
• Member of the OIQ
• Availability to take on fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) assignments
• Proficiency with mine design software, Minesight and Deswik are preferred
• Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
• Advanced/ level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in Québec.
