Billing Coordinator – Finance Team

Position Overview

Collaborate with project and finance teams to deliver accurate and timely invoicing across projects in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage billing terms in internal systems for an assigned portfolio of projects and clients.
• Obtain additional billing details to ensure accuracy and escalated billing issues to the Regional Billing Manager.
• Generate and submit invoice drafts and supporting documentation to reviewers/approvers; revise as required.
• Prepare and issue final invoice packages to clients within required timelines while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Managers, and Project Accountants to resolve issues efficiently.
• Assess billing workflows and recommend improvements to reduce turnaround time and enhance efficiency.
• Perform reconciliation of billing, data entry, filing, and organization of supporting documentation; prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed.
• Take on additional billing and administrative responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Completed post‑secondary education in Finance or Accounting.
• Recent graduate or early‑career professional.
• Previous billing experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable, collections, and customer service principles.
• Eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy with internal and external stakeholders.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400

MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 – $80,000

The final salary awarded for this role may vary based on education, experience, and geographic location within the provided ranges.
