McMillan LLP is seeking a Bilingual Billing Professional to join their team on a 20-month contract basis. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement across Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa, focusing on enhancing client billing processes. As a Billing Coordinator, your primary tasks will include managing the billing cycle alongside legal professionals. You will be responsible for distributing invoices, addressing billing issues, and ensuring tax compliance. Your contributions will directly support the firm’s collections and financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate client billing operations from start to finish
- Distribute invoices and assist with collections
- Review and ensure correctness of billing documentation
- Communicate with lawyers on billing discrepancies
- Process adjustments, write-offs, and validate expenses
- Experience in law firm billing or professional services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Elite 3E or comparable billing software
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks
