Property Accountant - Bilingual Role in Montreal

Become a vital component of our Montreal office as a Bilingual Property Accountant / Accounting Technician. This role requires an organized and tech-savvy individual ready to embrace diverse accounting tasks. We seek an enthusiastic professional to manage bookkeeping, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support our property management operations. Strong communication skills in both French and English, coupled with experience in relevant software, will set you up for success in our collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all bookkeeping aspects, from revenues to payables
- Ensure the rent roll is accurate and billings are timely
- Execute data entry, reconciliations, and payment processes
- Engage with tenant communications and follow-ups
- Adopt new IT systems and property software efficiently
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Experience with property management software
- Familiarity with accounting tools like QuickBooks or Sage
- Quick learner willing to embrace new technologies
