Accounts Receivable Representative Montreal

Shape the future of customer invoicing as an Accounts Receivable Representative in Montreal. Focus on ensuring the collection of customer invoices related to various services, utilizing your language skills and negotiation expertise. As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will execute the collection process for freight and non-freight services, leveraging a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The role emphasizes independent work and effective communication to resolve payment issues and maintain customer relationships. You will also monitor accounts based on creditworthiness, taking appropriate actions to optimize collections. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle overdue accounts with advanced negotiation skills
- Perform reconciliations and adjust accounts as necessary
- Effectively apply payments and resolve customer queries
- Maintain open communication with customers and sales staff
- Proactively oversee account limits and actions
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar field
- Bilingual in English and French is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience with SAP is advantageous
